Full description
This journey connects four very different Moroccan worlds in a loop designed to be explored independently. Agadir opens the stay with an ocean atmosphere before the road heads inland through Atlas relief, earthen architecture and the broad landscapes of the South.
Ouarzazate forms the first major chapter of the road trip. Kasbahs, valleys and Aït Ben Haddou introduce a more mineral Morocco before the High Atlas crossing to Marrakech. Three nights in the Red City leave time for the medina, souks, palaces and gardens without reducing Marrakech to a quick stop.
The route then turns towards Essaouira. After the intensity of Marrakech, old Mogador offers a completely different rhythm: ramparts, harbour, Atlantic light and art galleries. The journey ends in Agadir with several quieter nights for walks, beach time and personal time.
The Scenic Roads Escape is for travellers who want the independence of a self-drive trip with a secure framework already in place: reserved vehicle, selected accommodation, half board and EMIT assistance.

Signature experiences
Driving the High Atlas — The route between Ouarzazate and Marrakech is part of the experience: mountain roads, villages, relief and wide panoramas shape the crossing towards the Red City.
Aït Ben Haddou & red-earth architecture — The famous UNESCO-listed ksar is one of the defining architectural signatures of this part of Morocco.
Marrakech with time to explore — Three nights allow time for Jemaa el-Fna, the souks, gardens and medina heritage without turning Marrakech into a rushed visit.
Essaouira, another Atlantic rhythm — Skala ramparts, fishing harbour, medina and artistic atmosphere create a clear change of pace after the Atlas and Marrakech.
Between argan trees and ocean — Atlantic roads open onto villages, argan landscapes and coastal panoramas as the journey heads south again.
Agadir at both ends of the journey — Five nights split before and after the road trip create gentler transitions and combine discovery with time to rest.

Days 1–2 First Atlantic horizonsAgadir +
Arrival in Agadir, private hotel transfer and check-in. Two nights to discover the city, seafront and surroundings at your own pace.
Day 3 Towards the kasbahsAgadir → Ouarzazate +
Collect the rental vehicle and head inland. This stage marks the true beginning of the road trip through southern landscapes and Atlas relief.
Day 4 Land of kasbahsOuarzazate +
A free day around Ouarzazate for earthen heritage, kasbahs, cinematic landscapes and local discoveries. Second night.
Day 5 Across the High AtlasOuarzazate → Aït Ben Haddou → Marrakech +
Drive towards Marrakech via Aït Ben Haddou and the landscapes of the High Atlas. Check in in the Red City.
Days 6–7 The Red City at your paceMarrakech +
Two days for the medina, souks, palaces, gardens and Jemaa el-Fna. Any guided service is specified in the confirmed travel documents.
Day 8 Towards the City of Trade WindsMarrakech → Essaouira +
Head for the Atlantic. The landscape gradually changes before arrival in Essaouira and its maritime atmosphere. First night.
Day 9 Ramparts & oceanEssaouira +
A free day between the medina, ramparts, harbour, art galleries and seafront. Second night in Essaouira.
Day 10 Back to the coastEssaouira → Agadir +
Return to Agadir along the Atlantic. Stops can be adapted to your pace and the confirmed programme.
Days 11–12 Road-trip finaleAgadir +
Two freer days for the beach, walks, activities or rest. The rental vehicle is returned according to the confirmed rental agreement.
Day 13 DepartureAgadir +
Breakfast, private airport transfer according to flight time and end of EMIT Services arrangements.

Your tour in detail
Transport
Private round-trip transfers between Agadir Airport and the hotel. Rental vehicle for 9 days: Dacia Sandero Stepway or similar, collected and returned in Agadir, with unlimited mileage and insurance according to the confirmed package.
Encadrement / guides
Self-drive format with no permanent tour leader. EMIT Services assistance is available during the stay. Any local guided visit is specified in the confirmed travel documents.
Meals
Half board: 12 breakfasts and 12 dinners focused on regional specialities and products. Drinks are not included.
Included
Private airport transfers, 9 days of car rental in the confirmed category, unlimited mileage and insurance included in the confirmed package, 12 nights according to the programme, 12 breakfasts, 12 dinners and EMIT Services assistance from Day 1 to Day 13.

Practical information
Flexible travel dates. Commercial basis: from 2 travellers, up to 5 people per vehicle and a minimum driver age of 22, subject to rental-provider confirmation. Operational adjustments may occur.
