The Southern Triangle is the most compact self-drive itinerary in the EMIT Morocco collection. Its idea is simple: bring together three very different atmospheres in a route that is easy to understand and enjoyable to explore independently.
Agadir brings Atlantic light and a seaside rhythm. Marrakech changes the scenery completely with its ochre tones, medina, souks, gardens and the energy of Jemaa el-Fna. Three nights give enough time to experience the Red City without turning it into a rushed stop.
The road then reaches Essaouira through argan landscapes. Old Mogador creates another clear shift: pale facades, ramparts, fishing harbour, sea air and an artistic atmosphere. The return to Agadir naturally closes the loop on the Atlantic.
This trip is for travellers who want the freedom of driving without committing to the longer crossings of the Grand South. Driving stages remain manageable for a shorter stay, while accommodation, vehicle and assistance are prepared in advance by EMIT Services.

Marrakech with time of your own — Three nights allow time for the medina, Jemaa el-Fna, gardens and the Red City atmosphere while keeping genuine freedom in the programme.
Essaouira, a bohemian Atlantic stop — One night in old Mogador creates a maritime contrast through the Skala ramparts, harbour, medina and fresh coastal flavours.
The Argan Route — Between Marrakech and the coast, the road crosses characteristic argan landscapes and leaves room for spontaneous stops at the traveller’s own pace.
Ocean & ochre lands behind the wheel — The contrast between Atlantic scenery and Marrakech defines the visual identity of this deliberately fluid road trip.
Agadir, the seaside pause — With four nights in total, Agadir is more than an arrival and departure point: it also gives time for the beach, walks and a more relaxed finale.
Flavours between land and sea — Half board follows the journey from inland cooking to the flavours of the Atlantic coast.

Days 1–2 Welcome to the AtlanticAgadir +
Arrival at Agadir Airport, private hotel transfer and check-in. Two nights for the beach, souks, seafront and a first independent introduction to the city.
Day 3 Towards the ochre landsAgadir → Marrakech +
Collect the rental vehicle and drive to Marrakech. Check in and enjoy a first immersion in the Red City.
Days 4–5 Medina & heritageMarrakech +
Two days to explore Marrakech at your own pace: medina, souks, gardens, palaces and Jemaa el-Fna. Any guided visit is specified in the confirmed travel documents.
Day 6 The Argan RouteMarrakech → Essaouira +
Head towards the Atlantic through argan landscapes. Arrive in Essaouira and explore the harbour, medina and ramparts. Overnight in Essaouira.
Day 7 Back to the coastEssaouira → Agadir +
A free morning in Essaouira followed by the drive to Agadir. An Imsouane stop can remain optional depending on timing and personal preference.
Day 8 Final Atlantic horizonsAgadir +
A free day for the beach, walks, activities or rest. Return the rental vehicle according to the confirmed rental agreement.
Day 9 DepartureAgadir +
Breakfast followed by private airport transfer according to flight time. End of EMIT Services arrangements.

Your tour in detail
Transport
Private round-trip transfers between Agadir Airport and the hotel. Rental vehicle for 7 days: Dacia Sandero Stepway or similar, collected and returned in Agadir, with unlimited mileage and insurance according to the confirmed package.
Encadrement / guides
Self-drive format with no permanent tour leader. EMIT Services assistance is available during the stay. Any local guided visit or roadbook is specified in the confirmed travel documents.
Meals
Half board: 8 breakfasts and 8 dinners focused on regional specialities and products. Drinks are not included.
Included
